MorningStar Worship

Singer Kelanie Webb
Kelanie Webb is a prophetic worship leader, songwriter, recording artist and teacher. She is the Morningstar Worship Director and she also leads the MSU School of Worship. She has been leading worship for over 20 years. Her passion and energy in worship beckons everyone to press in for a deeper encounter with Jesus. Through her songs and her teaching, she encourages individuals to not only pour out their hearts to the Lord, but also to release the sound of heaven as they tune into His heart and voice. Kelanie travels and ministers in churches, worship schools and conferences across the United States and in many other nations.
Guitarist Will Price
Will Price is a singer-songwriter from Charlotte, NC. Will has played and traveled extensively with artists such as Suzy Yaraei, Kim Walker-Smith, Misty Edwards, David Vallier, BJ and Lisa Sullivan, and others. Will is currently the band director at MorningStar Ministries and co-directs the MorningStar Worship School.
Drummer Jon Hussey
Jonathan Hussey is an established musician based in Charlotte, NC. Jonathan is a session drummer, producer, teacher, and engineer featured on several projects covering various genres.
Pianist Sam Ganbold
Samuel Ganbold is a writer, artist, producer, and musician based in Charlotte, NC. Samuel is currently an instructor for MorningStar Worship school and a creative consultant for various artists.
Guitarist Phil Verenych
Phillip is the glue that holds the band together. Phil oversees the Audio Department, MSU Worship Instructor, and House Musician for MorningStar Worship.
Singer Suzy Yaraei
Suzy Yaraei is a fun-loving adventurer who is so grateful for the gift of writing songs, poems, books, and anything else she can shape with words. She has been a major influential worship leader across the globe and also helped pioneer the Bethel School of Worship with Don Potter in 1997. As a speaker, teacher, and big-hearted encourager, Suzy has helped countless people throughout the world into the freedom of creative expression while discovering the wonders of who they are in Christ.
Singer Austin Johnson
Austin Johnson is a worship leader and songwriter based out of North Carolina and is featured on our “Caught Up” EP with his original song “Strong Hope”. He currently leads worship at Freedom Church alongside BJ and Lisa Sullivan. Austin has years of experience leading the church body and continues to write and create new songs that carry the heart of worship.
Singer Rafael Fidelis
Rafael Fidelis is a Brazilian worship leader who carries a fire and passion that is contagious. Rafael is featured on our “Caught Up” EP with his original song “Sound of Heaven”. He continues to write daily and each song carries the same passion and joy of the Lord.
Singer Stephanie Kopczak
Stephanie Kopczak is a graduate of our Morningstar School of Worship where she grew in her gift of songwriting and worship leading. Stephanie carries a pure passion for going after the heart of the Lord and going deeper in worship. She is also an incredible videographer and has a true gift of creativity.

Jennifer is a singer and songwriter based in Charlotte, NC.
Singer Mikayla Obrien
Mikayla is a gifted singer, writer, and artist based in Fort Mill, SC.
Singer Andrew Williams
Andrew Williams is a singer, artist, and worship leader based in Charlotte, NC. Andrew has traveled around the world extensively with the likes of Kim Walker Smith, John Mark McMillan, Sarah McMillan, Suzy Yaraei, and many others.

    The opportunity to work with Don Potter in the worship school was a tremendous privilege. The process taught me a lot about sonship, as well as how to release the unique, God-given sound He put inside of me. My life has been forever changed through this experience.

    MSU has been such a blessing to my life. In my time here I’ve truly discovered my calling. I’ve discovered who God is to me and obtained a much higher revelation of who I am in God. My generation is in need of strong leaders and I feel that this school has given me the road map to unlock the leader inside of me.

    My time at MSU has been amazing! It’s not all about how we change physically but how God can remove old ways of thinking and rebuild us in His image so that we can fulfill our calling. MSU is the most impactful program that I’ve ever experienced. We just have to trust the process.
